DANIEL ELLIS - STAGE DIRECTOR
This website was designed to allow the breadth of Mr. Ellis' work as an opera and theatre director to speak for itself. The challenge was finding a way to make the sheer volume of work quickly and easily accessible to his audience, while being able to let each page also give the viewer a sense of who he is, how he works, and a clear sense of his professional goals.
BALANCING THE STAGE
Coming together during the tumultuous time of the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, these opera directors wanted to build community, as well as create a brave space to further the conversations that were starting within their business to address inequity and racism in their theatres and productions. They wanted a site that reflected their desire for inclusion and a shift away from the way things were.
BETHANY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST
I served at Bethany as their office manager for almost ten years. In that time, I saw the church transition through two pastors and begin a re-branding process to better represent the needs of the church. Along the way, we not only upgraded the website to better suit the needs of the congregation, but we invested in and adapted to online giving, integrating with a third-party provider to maximize the parishioners' giving potential.
ADDITIONAL CLIENTS
TOTO TOURS
We began working together in 2013, and our work together went through a couple iterations before we landed on the final look. One component of this process was the advent of adaptable screens such as tablets or smartphones. We landed on this wordpress site designed primarily for e-commerce in the hopes of encouraging new clients to join them on these LGBTQ+ focused international tours.
